Kitchen Cabinets
With the high cost of remodeling a kitchen, painting kitchen cabinets can be an inexpensive way to change the look of your kitchen. You can shift from outdated wood tones to trendy colors like white, navy, or sage green. If you've changed the wall color or installed new countertops, repainting the cabinets helps tie the whole look together.
Our Process
Remove doors and drawers
We carefully remove the doors and drawers of your cabinets. We also remove all the hardware to ensure the paint only touches the visible surfaces.
Masking & Prep
After wiping down and cleaning any dirt or stains on the cabinets, we apply painter’s tape along edges where cabinets meet walls, ceilings, or backsplashes. We will also cover countertops, floors, and appliances with plastic sheeting or drop cloths.
Painting
We use the Sherwin Williams Emerald series to paint your cabinets. In most cases we use a spray application for an even coat.
Re-assemble cabinets
After 24 hours the paint will dry and we will carefully install all of the doors and drawers back in the cabinets. Although the paint is dry, it takes two weeks for the cabinets to fully cure so we recommend you to handle them gently.
